it is sunday and we still await results from adrian's most recent spinal tap, confirming the presence or absence of a number of viruses.
in the meantime, adrian continues to fight hard. he is showing more signs of alertness; with this increased consciousness, he also has less control of his upper body muscles. this, of course, is difficult for us to witness, but realize it may be part of his recovery. as you can imagine, it is hard not knowing what is going on definitively.
we hope to have more conclusive results and a better understanding of what has been affecting him tomorrow. until then, we appreciate your continued good thoughts, prayers and energy sent his way.
