we are happy to report that adrian has finally been transferred back to sloan-kettering! a few hiccups and a longer stay in icu at cornell-ny pres, but we are back, at last! who knew we'd be so anxious to get back to sloan?! we are, indeed.
adrian is now in sloan's version of the icu, the post-operative unit, affectionately called "the pou." a single room and an excellent nursing staff. hopefully, a recipe for a good night's rest for the little one.
adrian is stronger and looking more like himself everyday. still a bit of recovery ahead, but lots of smiles today. and, indication that we may very well be out by christmas day!
