thank you all for continuing to check in. the doctors removed adrian's breathing and feeding tubes this morning! it took a little longer than we had hoped, but we are happy to report that they have begun the process of bringing him out of sedation. the best news is that he gave mommy and daddy a smile not too long ago.
he is still in the icu at cornell-ny presbyterian, but we hope for a transfer back to sloan monday (fingers crossed).
